The victim claims Rice punched him after being asked to look at his phone. No charges have been filed, and Rice has not officially been named as the suspect. The nightclub owner saw Rice that night but was unaware of any incident. Rice was previously charged with eight felonies for a hit and run crash in March. The current case is classified as a misdemeanor assault. Fox 4 has reached out to Rice’s attorneys and the Kansas City Chiefs organization for comments.

A law enforcement source confirms SMU alum and Kansas City Chiefs player Rashee Rice is under criminal investigation again. He’s accused of punching a photographer at a Dallas nightclub earlier this week.

Daniel Perry’s attorney, victim’s mother speak out after full pardon | FOX 7 Austin

www.youtube.com – FOX 7 Austin – 2024-05-17 18:48:19

SUMMARY: Governor Abbott issued a full pardon to Daniel Perry, who was released from prison after being unanimously voted for by the Board of Pardons and Paroles. Perry had been sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder of Garrett Foster, an Air Force veteran who was legally carrying an AK-47 at a Black Lives Matter protest. Perry, a ride-share driver, shot Foster and drove off. The pardon came after new evidence, not presented at trial, showed that Perry may have felt threatened. While Abbott cited stand your ground laws, Foster’s mother and the district attorney disagreed with the reasoning, calling the decision political. Perry’s attorney plans to discuss his next steps and possibly rejoining the military.

Gov. Abbott issued a full pardon for Daniel Perry, the former US Army sergeant convicted of murdering Garrett Foster, a Black Lives Matter protester, in 2020. Now both sides are speaking out.

www.youtube.com – FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth – 2024-05-17 17:49:54

SUMMARY: A heated verbal exchange between Dallas representative Jasmine Crockett and Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Green during a congressional hearing highlighted the dysfunction in Congress. Crockett defended herself and criticized Green’s personal attacks, leading to further chaos in the meeting. The disagreement reflects the lack of civility and respect among members of Congress, with long-serving members noting a decline in cordiality. Democrats attempted to remove Green from the hearing, but the resolution did not pass. The incident underscores the current state of divisiveness and contentiousness in Congress, indicating a need for change in how members interact and conduct themselves in political debates.

Congresswoman Crockett told FOX 4 she does not regret anything she said and will not tolerate being disrespected.
