New details on capture of murder suspect Kaitlin Armstrong in Costa Rica | FOX 7 Austin

Published

on

SUMMARY: According to the content, Caitlin Armstrong, an accused murderer, was captured by the Costa Rican National Police after being on the run for over a month. She had changed her appearance by dyeing her hair darker and cutting it shorter. Initially, it was suspected that she was using her sister's identity, as a Utah-based investigator had found evidence of this. Armstrong flew to New York shortly after being questioned about the murder of cyclist Anna Maria Wilson and then traveled to Costa Rica using a fraudulent passport. However, it is not confirmed whether she actually used her sister's identity.

Armstrong is accused of killing cyclist Anna Moriah “Mo” Wilson in East Austin in May.
