Round Rock ISD police chief leaves role, claims district did not report student sexual assault to po
SUMMARY: Round Rock ISD Board of Trustee Daniel Weston blames the superintendent for recent issues in the school district, stating that “a fish rots from the head.” Despite the district’s efforts to address concerns, Weston and other trustees believe that two members are exacerbating the situation by releasing personal information. There were reservations about hiring Police Chief Dennis Weiner due to past accusations, and an investigation later revealed a negative and chaotic environment within the police department.
