Holmes, facing child pornography charges, was arrested after investigators found thousands of disturbing on his phone. The restaurant's manager tipped off authorities after discovering Holmes' behavior. Investigators fear there may be local victims. Holmes, deemed a danger to society, is in jail on a $500,000 bond. SUMMARY: A mother is suing the city of Santa Fe and the police department claiming excessive force during her arrest. The incident happened three years ago when the mother, Taylor Rogers, was dropping off her son at school and allegedly drove away from officers. The police chief at the scene disputes the claims of excessive force, saying the mother was erratic. The lawsuit highlights the lack of empathy in law enforcement. The mother and her attorneys are seeking reprimands and additional training for the officers involved. The Santa Fe Police Department and city manager have not commented on the ongoing litigation.
