Couple tried to shield their kids, 3 and 6, from gunfire in Fort Worth drive-by shooting

SUMMARY: Fort Worth Police are investigating a driveby shooting that wounded six young victims, including a 3-year-old girl who remains hospitalized. The siblings were playing outside when a red Kia Soul drove by and someone started shooting. The children’s parents are considering moving as the kids are scared to return home. The other victims, ranging from 3 to 19 years old, survived. The parents are desperate for answers and justice. The shooter remains at large, and the police are asking for any information on the incident. The family is traumatized and struggling to feel safe in their own home after the terrifying incident.

Fort Worth police have not yet arrested whoever was responsible for a drive-by shooting that injured six young victims, including a 3-year-old girl. The toddler’s older brother was also one of the victims. Their parents tell FOX 4 the kids are scared of their home, and they’re thinking about moving away.
