SUMMARY: A Virgin Atlantic flight from London to San Francisco was forced to return to Heathrow after its windscreen cracked at 40,000 feet, three hours into the journey. The incident occurred near Greenland and Iceland. A Virgin Atlantic spokesperson confirmed that the safety of passengers and crew was never compromised, and the aircraft returned for repairs without impacting schedules. This event adds to a series of recent issues Boeing has faced, including a door panel blowing off a Boeing 737 Max 9 and external panels detaching from other planes. Despite these incidents, aviation experts affirm that flying remains safe, with Boeing enhancing its safety measures.

Another scare in the skies aboard a Boeing jet. A Virgin Atlantic flight to San Francisco from London had to turn back around and make a landing after a windscreen on the jet cracked while the plane was at 40,000 feet.

SUMMARY: Brian Hernandez, 27, is accused of fatally shooting three family members in their northwest Houston apartment. The tragic event unfolded when Hernandez, who lives with schizophrenia, called 911 himself, initially claiming that he had shot intruders. However, Houston Police later revealed that the victims were his own family, including his mother, sister, and brother-in-law visiting from Canada. Neighbors, who were unaware of any ongoing issues, expressed shock, noting no previous signs of trouble. Hernandez, known to police from previous mental calls, waived his court appearance and now faces capital murder charges.

Initially, police said a tenant, identified later as Bryan J. Fernandez Hernandez, 27, told officers he shot and killed three people during a home invasion at an apartment on Hammerly Blvd in the Gessner Grove neighborhood a little before 3:15 p.m. Further investigation, however, revealed it was not a home invasion at all. In fact, Fernandez Hernandez shot his three family members in the apartment and then called 911.
