Vice President Kamala Harris to speak in Dallas Wednesday

Published

www.youtube.com – FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth – 2024-07-10 06:54:23

SUMMARY: Vice President Kamala Harris is set to visit Dallas, addressing the National Convention of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, which she joined in 1986 at Howard University. Her visit comes at a challenging time for the Biden-Harris campaign amid speculation about her potential as a Presidential nominee if President Biden steps aside, though there is no current indication of that. Harris is focusing on securing support from Black and Hispanic male voters, a group that has shown some detachment from the Democratic Party in recent elections due to nostalgia for the Trump economy. She recently campaigned in Las Vegas, expressing strong support for President Biden.

The vice president will be speaking on Wednesday morning at the national convention of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.
