SUMMARY: Doyle Tipton, a registered low-risk sex offender in Hunt County, is accused of attempting to kidnap and sexually assault a 10-year-old girl near his secondary address in Dallas County. The girl, who had been reported as a runaway, managed to escape and sought help at a nearby fire station. Tipton, who has a history of multiple sex crime convictions, reportedly tried to drive the girl away in a red van after picking her up. Tipton's neighbors, unaware of his offender status, expressed shock. Authorities are investigating Tipton's involvement in other cases. Tipton remains registered with Texas DPS and checks in annually.

It appears Doyle Tipton was not living at the home he reported to state registry officials. Instead, he was living in an apartment complex near parks and schools and just blocks away from where he allegedly kidnapped a 10-year-old girl.

Ask Amy: Can I get money back for internet services that are not working right now?

Published

www.youtube.com – KPRC 2 Click2Houston – 2024-07-12 07:12:15

SUMMARY: Following Hurricane Barrel, many homes and businesses have had power restored, but internet outages persist. AT&T and Xfinity/Comcast customer service is currently difficult to reach, and when contact is made, answers are limited. Comcast reports 975,000 customers lost service post-hurricane, mostly due to power issues, with 355,000 restored and 620,000 still out. Damaged electric lines often imply damaged cable/fiber lines. Customers without service can request credits once restored. AT&T is less specific but working on restoration and has opened mobile connectivity centers for free Wi-Fi. Verizon offers free call, data, and texting for affected areas from July 8-17.

As power is restored to homes and businesses across our area many of you say you still don’t have internet. AT&T and Comcast Xfinity customer service are difficult to reach and when you do get a human on the phone, they don’t have any answers.
