Universal Basic Income goes to Texas Supreme Court
SUMMARY: The issue in Texas is the debate over offering economically challenged Americans a guaranteed monthly income. The program has faced criticism for potentially buying votes and government dependency. The legality and effectiveness of the program are being questioned, with the Texas Supreme Court likely to review it. The debate continues on whether guaranteed income should be prioritized with limited taxpayer dollars.
