SUMMARY: Tensions are escalating between Israeli military leaders and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, highlighted by the IDF spokesman stating that destroying Hamas is unattainable. Meanwhile, the political rift between Netanyahu and the Biden Administration is intensifying. High-ranking U.S. officials are meeting with Israeli leaders to ease tensions, following Netanyahu's accusation that the White House is withholding crucial arms shipments. This claim has been met with disappointment from the U.S. and stronger rebukes from some lawmakers. As the Gaza conflict stretches into its ninth month, IDF commanders are advocating for a political settlement, challenging Netanyahu's stance on completely eliminating Hamas.

The divide and tension between Israel's top military leaders and the Israeli prime minister are becoming more apparent. In a rare, public challenge to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israel Defense Forces top spokesman said the idea of destroying the Hamas terrorist group is unattainable. Netanyahu maintains the war will not end until Hamas is eliminated.

Ask Amy: Can I get money back for internet services that are not working right now?

Published

www.youtube.com – KPRC 2 Click2Houston – 2024-07-12 07:12:15

SUMMARY: Following Hurricane Barrel, many homes and businesses have had power restored, but internet outages persist. AT&T and Xfinity/Comcast customer service is currently difficult to reach, and when contact is made, answers are limited. Comcast reports 975,000 customers lost service post-hurricane, mostly due to power issues, with 355,000 restored and 620,000 still out. Damaged electric lines often imply damaged cable/fiber lines. Customers without service can request credits once restored. AT&T is less specific but working on restoration and has opened mobile connectivity centers for free Wi-Fi. Verizon offers free call, data, and texting for affected areas from July 8-17.

As power is restored to homes and businesses across our area many of you say you still don’t have internet. AT&T and Comcast Xfinity customer service are difficult to reach and when you do get a human on the phone, they don’t have any answers.
