Employee Spotlight| Mark Morgan

SUMMARY: Mark Morgan Senior is a Battalion Chief with the Fire Department and the current Emergency Management Coordinator for the city. He has been working in Galveston since April 1991 and enjoys helping citizens and ensuring their safety. Mark coordinates emergency management procedures and plans for special events in the city. He also closely monitors hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico and responds accordingly. Although he is retiring from his current position, he has been selected to be a county liaison for the Texas Department of Emergency Management. Mark will assist with coordinating resources during disasters and emergencies along the Gulf Coast. He will miss working in Galveston and wishes everyone well.
