Texas non-profit helps rescue wildlife in panhandle fires: how to help

SUMMARY: The Texas panhandle fires that burned over 1.2 million acres of land across eight counties in Texas and parts of Oklahoma have been declared 100% contained by the Texas A&M Forest Service. Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Amarillo has been rescuing injured animals impacted by the fires, with over 3,000 animals rescued so far. While many animals were able to flee, the non-profit continues to search for injured animals in need of help. They have partnered with first responders and volunteers from parts of Texas to assist with the rescue efforts. Donations are encouraged to support the ongoing fire rescue mission.

Hutto, partner mutually agree to part ways on Brushy Creek Amphitheater management

SUMMARY: The Brushy Creek Amphitheater in Hutto, Texas, has ended its contract with Directors of Chaos, affecting upcoming events. Both parties mutually agreed to the immediate termination.
