Delta to fly nonstop from Austin for fans traveling to UT-Arkansas game

SUMMARY: Longhorns fans traveling to Fayetteville, Arkansas, for the UT-Arkansas game now have a new travel option. Delta Air Lines will provide nonstop flights from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to Northwest Arkansas National Airport for the game. The departures from Austin are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 15, with returns on Sunday, Nov. 17. The game is on Saturday, Nov. 16, with an unannounced kickoff time. Delta will operate this route as one of 56 game-related flights for the football season. Texas holds a record of 56-23 against Arkansas but lost the last two matchups, the latest in 2021 under coach Steve Sarkisian.

Residents in Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, and Walker counties may qualify for a $750 payment per household through FEMA’s Serious Need Assistance (SNA) program, in addition to other aid. To qualify, applicants must report displacement or emergency costs related to the disaster. Additional help may be available with a completed FEMA application, identity verification, residence in a declared disaster area, and confirmed damage. Apply through DisasterAssistance.gov, the FEMA app, or the FEMA helpline. Beware of scams and verify inspectors’ identities. More details are on the FEMA website.
