Buc-ee’s to open second location in Kentucky

Sheriff’s Office pulls body from Lake Travis cove

SUMMARY: A body matching the description of a missing swimmer was found Sunday evening after a search by multiple agencies, according to a press release from the Travis County Sheriff's Office (TCSO). The 70-year-old man, not wearing a life vest, went underwater Saturday afternoon in a cove near Arkansas Bend County Park. The search involved TCSO Lake Patrol, Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD), Lake Travis Fire Rescue, STAR Flight, and the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA). On Sunday, the body was recovered from a depth of 29 feet using remotely operated vehicles and sonar. TCSO stated no crime is suspected but did not identify the body.
