LIVE: 2 dead, more than 40 people involved in school bus rollover crash, officials say

SUMMARY: A Hays Consolidated Independent School District bus carrying Tom Green Elementary preschool students was involved in a serious crash in Bastrop County, Texas, resulting in at least two deaths. The crash occurred between the bus and a concrete truck near Mustang Ridge. A total of 44 students and 11 adults were on the bus returning from a field trip to the Bastrop Zoo. Emergency responders, including Travis County STARFlight helicopters, transported patients to medical facilities. Road closures are expected in the area as the investigation continues.
