SUMMARY: North Texas is experiencing extreme heat, with an Excessive Heat Warning in effect until 8 p.m. today. Feels-like temperatures could reach 115° or higher in some areas. A Heat Advisory will then go into effect from 8 p.m. tonight until 8 p.m. Thursday, with feels-like temperatures potentially reaching 110°. By the weekend, the heat will subside slightly as a cold front moves in, bringing a chance of isolated showers and storms. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s on Saturday and Sunday, with a 20% chance of isolated storms on the Fourth of July.
