SUMMARY: The Texas men’s basketball team will play its inaugural Southeastern Conference season with a fairly favorable schedule. They will not have to play Kentucky, Tennessee, or Alabama on the road. Instead, they will face these teams at Moody Center along with several others. To preserve rivalries, Texas will have home-and-home series with Arkansas, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma. They will also travel to other SEC schools. Dates and times will be announced later. Each team will play at least once, with three other games to total 18 conference games. The SEC tournament is scheduled for March 12-16 in Nashville, Tennessee.
