Louisiana parishioners stop teen with gun who walked into church during Mass, Abbeville police say

4 puppies left in hot car while owner dined at Disney: Florida animal services

Motorcyclist in deadly crash identified by APD
SUMMARY: The Austin Police Department identified Tarl Sears, 53, as the motorcyclist who died in a single-motorcycle crash on May 10 in the 13700 block of Immanuel Road. This marks Austin’s 26th fatal crash of 2024, resulting in 26 fatalities so far this year. On the same date in 2023, there were 34 fatal crashes resulting in 34 deaths. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact APD’s Vehicular Homicide unit at 512-974-8111 or submit a tip anonymously through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program.
